Members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are Christians who have chosen to execute their baptismal commitment in response to Christ’s calling to seek and find the forgotten, the suffering or the deprived so they may bring them God’s love through Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.

Pope Francis says that Jesus is calling each of us to be a disciple with a mission.  He says to take up the Corporal and Spiritual Acts of Mercy with joy.
